The Sex Party MP appears on Vice describing her recreational use of cannabis.
Towards the end of the video, interviewer Krishna Andavolu asks Ms Patten if now would be a good time for a joint, to which she responds: "This is the perfect time".
The pair then peruse Ms Patten's collection of erotic art work.

The video, which was shot in Ms Patten's home, ends with her and Mr Andavolu laughing.
They are not filmed smoking a joint but the opening scene does show a cloud of smoke and there is a shot of ash in a glass ashtray towards the end of the seven-minute interview.

In the video Ms Patten describes her recreational use of cannabis. "I've spoken in parliament about it. I'm very open about it," she says.
"My colleagues might have six beers after work. I might have a joint after work. I see nothing wrong with that."
While the state government has recently approved medicinal cannabis, with strict caveats, personal use remains illegal.
Ms Patten told Vice that politicians found it much more difficult to discuss marijuana for personal use.
"I just think it's this pleasure principle. We really don't like accepting people get pleasure from cannabis. That makes it really difficult for us to legalise it and talk about it."
She said farmers should be allowed to grow marijuana that can be sold for recreational use and that it should also be taxed.
