Mechanics (Greek μηχανική) is an area of science concerned with the behavior of physical bodies when subjected to forces or displacements, and the subsequent effects of the bodies on their environment. The scientific discipline has its origins in Ancient Greece with the writings of Aristotle and Archimedes (see History of classical mechanics and Timeline of classical mechanics). During the early modern period, scientists such as Khayaam, Galileo, Kepler, and Newton, laid the foundation for what is now known as classical mechanics. It is a branch of classical physics that deals with particles that are either at rest or are moving with velocities significantly less than the speed of light. It can also be defined as a branch of science which deals with the motion of and forces on objects.
Historically, classical mechanics came first, while quantum mechanics is a comparatively recent invention. Classical mechanics originated with Isaac Newton's laws of motion in Principia Mathematica; Quantum Mechanics was discovered in the early 20th century. Both are commonly held to constitute the most certain knowledge that exists about physical nature. Classical mechanics has especially often been viewed as a model for other so-called exact sciences. Essential in this respect is the relentless use of mathematics in theories, as well as the decisive role played by experiment in generating and testing them.
Actors: Nicolás Rueda hijo (miscellaneous crew), Pedro de Aguillón (actor), Félix González (actor), Pedro Infante (actor), Silvia Pinal (actress), Janet Alcoriza (writer), Luis Alcoriza (writer), Manuel Esperón (composer), Rogelio A. Plot: After a quarrel with her boyfriend on New Year's Eve, Mane (Pinal) drives her car from Mexico City to Cuernavaca to meet her parents in their country house. The car breaks down in the highway and Mane has to ask for help. Mechanic Cruci (Infante) arrives and, after testing the car, offers Mane a ride on his motorcycle. Back in Mane's house, she invites him some drinks to celebrate New Year's Eve. They get drunk and, the morning after, Mane's parents arrive and find them sleeping together. Not knowing what happened, Mane and Cruci are forced to get married against their will.

Scotty Kilmer, mechanic for the last 48 years, explains why mechanics tend to swear a lot when fixing cars. The reasons are both simple AND complex.
This is a tutorial to help inspire those who are considering being an Automotive Mechanic/ Technician in the Automotive Industry. I explain the way I did it and what it takes to become a Proficient and Competent Mechanic. It will take hard work, determination and passion in order for the new Mechanic to pave his/her way through the Automotive trade. I strongly emphasize going to school ( Automotive Technology School), Strong thorough study in Diagnostics, Electronics, Computerized Engine Controls, learning from the Wrecking Yard (to get hands on) and learning from the Oldskool Mechanics/Technicians. Chase your dreams and don't let any one kill your ambition or will to succeed in anything you want to do. The choice is yours, TAKE MASSIVE ACTION AND BE FEARLESS. With GOD (JESUS CHRIST) all t...

This topic was suggested by forum member Brink5. It's a great question and I admit that I'm guilty of this myself. For some reason I'm happier driving a junky old car over a new whatever. My reasons are simple and I state them in the video. I've also noticed this trend in many other mechanics and technicians. I'd love to hear your input as well. Are we wrong in this, or do mechanics really drive junk? Thanks for watching. EricTheCarGuy Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/EricTheCarGuy Intro music by Eric Cook "ETCG1 Intro". Related Videos. These structures encompass building foundations, dams, slopes, shafts, tunnels, caverns, hydroelectric schemes, mines, radioactive waste repositories and geothermal energy projects: in short, any structure built on or in a rock mass. Despite the variety of projects that use rock engineering, the principles remain the same. Engineering Rock Mechanics clearly and systematically explains the key principles behind rock engineering. The book covers the basic rock mechanics principles; how to study the interactions...

Quantum mechanics (QM -- also known as quantum physics, or quantum theory) is a branch of physics which deals with physical phenomena at nanoscopic scales where the action is on the order of the Planck constant. It departs from classical mechanics primarily at the quantum realm of atomic and subatomic length scales. Quantum mechanics provides a mathematical description of much of the dual particle-like and wave-like behavior and interactions of energy and matter. Quantum mechanics provides a substantially useful framework for...

Fundamentals of Physics (PHYS 200) Professor Shankar introduces the course and answers student questions about the material and the requirements. He gives an overview of Newtonian mechanics and explains its two components: kinematics and dynamics. He then reviews basic concepts in calculus through two key equations: x = x0 + v0t + ½ at2 and v2 = v02+ 2 a (x-x0), tracing the fate of a particle in one dimension along the x-axis. 00:00 - Chapter 1. Philosopher John Searle (Mills Professor of Philosophy, University of California, and Berkley) says that today’s philosophers are reluctant to tackle such big problems as how people...

Imagine you were at my station,
And you brought your motor to me.
Your a burner yeah a real motor car,
Said you wanna get your order filled.
Made me shiver when I put it in,
Pumping just won't do ya know luckily for you.
*Chorus*:
Whoever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me,
I do it for my life.
Made my drive shaft crank,
Made my pistons bulge,
Made my ball bearing melt from the heat.
We were shifting hard when we took off,
Put tonight all four on the floor.
When we hit top end you know it feels to slow,
I'm giving you my room service.
And ya know it's more than enough,
