Action Swingers - Decimation Blvd
A.S.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_Swingers) were a Garage Punk band formed by Ned Hayden and active from late '80's to 1998.
This is their 2nd album ( and the only i have sorry having buy as used to my habitual music pusher a long time ago)
Is a Good album although i've see Ep's longer that this album with only 21 minutes of duration (the only album shorter than this i've got is a Skrapyard one ( a band formed by Dead Kennedys guitarist East Bay Ray after the end of Dead Kennedy experience ( for me there aren't band called Dead Kennedys play at moments only a band of scoundrels that make cover of original D.K's and that look like some original D.K members) that was only 13 or 14 minutes long).

(if you like this one but are unable to find Action Swingers other album you can take comfort with youtube or their bandcamp (https://actionswingers.bandcamp.com/ all album except the first) where you can listen to it)

Info:
Mod, Soul

Doin' The Mod Vol.2, showcases a dazzling selection of perhaps some the finest hard to find Mod and R&B records spanning the years from 1964-1970. Right from the very first track 'Jump and Dance' by the scooter riding hipsters, The Carnaby to the infectious Northern Soul shaker and mover 'Baby Don't Push Me' courtesy of those legendary 60s Brit Beat soul boys, The Alan Bown Set to the incredible big band hammond sounds of the groovy Ray McVay Orchestra, anyone will be hard pressed to find a more polished and superbly compiled CD which presents such a fine mixture of Soho jazz, Brit Beat, Soul/R&B and infectious foot stomping hammond shakers. This CD will certainly delight the most discerning of Mods and will certainly make any groover and mover jump and dance, unless their shoes are made of lead! A week or so ago, someone graciously posted the first album by THE HULLABALLOOS in MONO, as I had requested. Upon further listen, most of the tracks appear to be the left channel only spread across both channels (missing one guitar and other information). SECOND REQUEST: Does anyone happen to have the first album in MONO as it had been released in 1965? Thx to he who first posted it and thx to whomever can lend a hand!!

Good evening to you all,

THE CRUSADERS

Wild N Fuzzy Garage-Punk from Sydney, Australia

The Crusaders from Sydney, Australia, have been descibed as "Australia's wildest garage-punk outfit ever"!! Formed in 1990 out of the ashes of Thee Purple Knights, the band developed their 60's brand of rock into a ferocious brutal 60's punk onslaught, albeit with caberet overtones. Compare "To the Party" from our debut cd/ep "Wylde Tymes at the Castle" to the Tim Kerr produced "Deep Shyte" ....in 1997 the band toured Spain for 4 weeks and in 1998 the U.S.A. got a four week dose of CRUSADER mayhem. (https://myspace.com/thecrusadersrock/)

Combining the retro 60's sound of surf and raw garage rock with their own antics of drunk punk are provided by The Crusaders. Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Dionysus Records contributed to their American debut in 1996 with the release of their ten-inch EP "Addicted to Fuzz". Two years later, The Crusaders continued their relationship with Dionysus upon their first full-length "Fat, Drunk & Stupid", followed by "Middle Age Rampage" in 1999. (http://www.allmusic.com/artist/the-crusaders-mn0001357883)

"The Crusaders are a band from Sydney that play excellent 60's fuzz. Their records are a bit hard to get unless you live in France, but they play live in Melbourne and Sydney on the odd occasion and these occasions turn out to be very odd. Don't ask them for a single because they'll give you a slice of cheese." - Jo Ward, Almost Human Fanzine
"Think hard-boiled fuzz songs with the safety catch off, spat out scatter-gun fashion and in rapid-fire time. It's ragged round the edges and delivered with a phlegmatic vocal style lifted wholesale from The Sonics and 30 other lesser-known '60s bands, in the best Lime Spiders traditions. And it's delivered by four grown men in masks and knight outfits." – The Barman
"I think the punters just got sick and tired of all those shitty little indie jerk off bands, those shallow-chested, navel gazing wankers. They just want to some rock'n'roll, have a good time and go out and get pissed at a pub and see a band that does exactly the same thing, one that doesn't worry too much about angst and depression and all the shit that no-one wants to think about anyway. People just dig rock'n'roll and we're here to please.
"That album 'Keep It Up' was recorded using the usual technique that The Crusaders employ. Substandard equipment, cheap mics, old tapes and plenty of beer, as you can hear, the product is garbage but hey… Sir James
(all these reviews were posted in 2007 by Dgrador at the fantastic, today inactive blog O Canadarm! (http://ocanadarm.blogspot.de/2007/01/crusaders-australia.html)

Crusaders:
Sir Chris (C. Malters): guitar, vocals
Sir James (J. McDonald): guitar, vocals
Sir Kendall (J. Kendall): bass, vocals
Sir Mickster (M. Baty): drums.

I know this is cheating (and I'll probably get slapped for it) BUT here goes...I'm really looking for Quincy Jones version of the Stones' 'Satisfaction'. I had this on a mercury compilation called 'Ndeda', but I think it was originally on 'Quincy Plays for Pussycats'? I cant find DL's of either of these albums so...
I know there were bunch of comp's going round recently where they were made up of covers of particular songs, and I gotta think Satisfaction was one of those. If someone can point me to a date range or posting that gets me close, I 'd appreciate it and than I can find out if any one has that particular version.

Thanks to whomever can help, and THANX to RYP for hosting one of the best Blogs!
