Super Mario Run can be downloaded for free letting you sample all of the game modes and after you purchase the game, you will be able to fully play all the modes with no additional payment required. The game modes include; “World Tour” where you clear 24 brand-new courses to save Princess Peach, “Toad Rally” where you compete with friends and players around the world where courses change each time you play and “Kingdom Builder” where you can create your own kingdom.

To reach Bowser’s Castle, clear 6 worlds filled with 24 brand-new courses designed for game play on the iPhone and iPad. There are many ways to enjoy the new courses, such as collecting the 3 different types of colored coins per level or by competing for the highest score against your friends.
You can try courses 1-1 to 1-3 for free, and after purchase, you gain access to play all 24 courses.
■Toad Rally
Show off Mario's stylish moves, compete against your friends and challenge people from all over the world.
A challenge mode where the competition changes each time you play.
Compete against the stylish moves of other players for the highest score as you gather coins and get cheered on by a crowd of Toads. Fill the gauge with stylish moves to enter “Coin Rush Mode” to get even more coins. If you win the rally, the cheering Toads will come live in your kingdom. Rally tickets are necessary to play “Toad Rally”. You can get rally tickets in "World Tour" as well as in "Kingdom Builder" from bonus games and ? Block.
■Kingdom Builder
Gather coins and Toads to build your very own kingdom.
Create your unique kingdom by using coins to acquire buildings and decorations that you unlock with the help of different colored Toads gathered in “Toad Rally”. There are over 100 kinds of items in the Kingdom Builder mode. There are even buildings that add playable characters in World Tour and Toad Rally.

So much nostalgia...
When I heard that Nintendo was making this game, and especially that the initial download was free, I just had to have it. After weeks of waiting in anticipation, I can finally play this classic platform game on my iPad, and can't help but recall the fond memories of Nintendo games in the '90s. So much of this game is straight from the original Mario titles, modernised with crisp graphics and a few spiffy new features like the ability to compete with other players' best performances.
There have been an awful lot of complaints about the fact that it's really just a demo, that the full game unlock costs $15 which is eye-watering for an iOS game. But a little perspective is in order - it may be very costly for an app, but it's dirt-cheap for a Nintendo game, and more importantly you don't need a Nintendo console to enjoy it. My first Mario game cost four times more than this app, and I didn't find it nearly as much fun. With that in mind, I am going to pay the $15 to unlock the full game - and judging by what I've seen so far, I'm not going to regret it.
YAY!!! I completed the waste of money
Now I can finally delete this game and forget about the torture it caused me, not to mention how it practically robbed me of $15 which could have been used on literally anything else.
People your $15 can be used on good game, don't spend it on games that make you wish you where Dead!
Waste of time
If it actually worked it may be worth playing. At the moment won't even load, just crashes continuously. This has been happening since the game first came out. Not going to waste any more time or downloads.
