This thing is about how hard it is to get a good job, especially in outer space.
Here it is.
C.E.J. Pacian presents the world's first liquid-fuelled rocket-blog: trapped in a hyperbolic orbit to nowhere in particular.

So
I am up to something. I should have a thing done by next week. At least, if I meet my deadline.
So, expect a thing.

This year, then.
This year I want to up my creative output and consumption. I feel like I wasted a lot of my spare time last year, and I want to put it to better use. I don't think I'll be able to write/program the whole damn time, but I at least want to relax in better ways - read a book, play a game, anything other than mindless surfing or watching TV.
My new year's resolution is to release a couple of sizeable games this year (I like Six Chamber Champion and Rogue of the Multiverse in their own ways, but they're both small) and to post some more short stories and stuff on the ol' Rocket Ship.

It only took me forever...
Finally posted a slightly fixed up version of my last game on the other blog.

End of the Month
In case you didn't realise it, I've spent the past month making a game for IFComp. I kept my sanity by posting daily updates on my progress at the other blog.
The fact I started late forced me to work hard and choose ruthlessly between competing ideas, which was good for me, I think (my normal mode of operation being to work lazily and cram in whatever I think of). I have no idea how well I'll do in the competition, but I'm glad to be able to say I've participated.
FYI, the competition rules prohibit me from discussing the game publicly during the judging period (which might begin tomorrow, possibly).

Just an FYI that I found a couple of hours this weekend to make a little something. You can find it on the other blog here.
This one's probably not for everyone.

Ink 'n' Paper
When I went into town to pick up the newest Ace Attorney game, I figured I might as well pick up the latest issue of Retro Gamer as well. And then I thought I'd just quickly leaf through it before throwing it on the ol' pile of unread reading material. But - hey, is that Walker & Silhouette in the home brew section?
I'd imagine that these days a niche magazine probably has a smaller readership than some of the blogs W&S; has been featured on, but it's still really cool to be mentioned in print - especially in one of the very few periodicals I happen to buy.

Geronimo!
Really tired.
Scaled the mountain.
Need to throw myself down the rocky crags of testing and feedback.
Not looking forward to it.
