A man found dead in his Bullsbrook home on Saturday morning is believed to be the father of a 30-year-old missing man, who police say should not be approached.
Timothy Daniel Moran has not been seen since he left his Bullsbrook home around 8.30pm on December 11.
Police said on Sunday morning the man found by relatives at the Bowman Street property at 9.50am on Saturday was 68-year-old Michael Moran.
Police wouldn't say if Mr Moran was the father of the missing 30-year-old, but said the pair were related and the Major Crime Squad are were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
Mr Moran was last seen wearing beige pants, a black T-shirt and a navy blue coat.
He is described as being fair skinned, 175cm tall, of a slim build, with short brown hair, and brown eyes.
It is believed that he left home and walked to the Bullsbrook town site.
Police and SES volunteers were conducting a land search for Timothy in the the Gaston Road Bullsbrook area on Friday afternoon.
Police have serious concerns for his welfare and said the public should not approach Mr Moran as he may be unpredictable.
Anyone who sees Mr Moran is asked to call police immediately on 000.
