At the moment I am specialising in repainting and plaster patch ups internal or external work. If the job is a large or small job we are ready to go.

All work is a price negotiated with the customer. We generally quote the job and proceed with the works. Payment on completion when the customer is happy.
-
What makes your pricing competitive?
I have phoned many customers after quoting the work so I can research how to stay competitive in the market. My price will not be the cheapest or the most expensive.

To all customers from Oneflare I will give a 10% discount to all customers who call me. Please say you found me on Oneflare that would be truly awesome.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
1 - Check to see if the quote you are getting is quantifying everything. sometimes trades and companies give a cheap quote and charge more than expensive quotes due to extras. 2 - Make sure you like the contractor 3 - Give me the job & you wont need to repaint again over someone elses defects,
-
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
To help any trade it is good to know colours if possible. Plaster areas measurements in meters or feet. If staining doors or timber decks and fences. It is hard to figure out what paints are used as there are over 50 different paints from acrylics varnishes to oil stains, and varnishes etc.
-
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
We have $20 million dollars in Public Liability. All my work has a 5 year guarantee. I often go back to jobs with a new paint product companies are trialing to see how the product is holding up. I keep in contact with the paint reps for all the latest products to better my business.
-
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
I always answer the phone when it is ringing. If I say I will be there I always turn up. If I am running late I will call to notify you. I have worked for many preferred builders in insurance work. And have worked in many of the poorest houses to the very richest I treat every with the same respect.
-
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
Can you match the colour? Generally sure can. How long will it take? I give an approximation and add one day just in case.
-
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
To hire the right trades person is simple. Do you connect with the trades person. Are they confident. Are they professional. Do you fell relaxed around them. If not keep going until you are satisfied with the right trades person.
-
What do you like most about your job?
The most satisfying part of my job is taking a tired house and making it look fantastic. And plastering walls that have holes in them and seeing the customers faces smile. Especially the people scared of insects who thank me a lot.
-
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
A customer had an architecturally designed house built in the 90s. The architect choose Azure blue for all the gutters and down pipes. His wife loved them, He hated them. In 2015 he asked us to paint the outside of his house. He danced a Jig, and clapped his hands... Thanks so much! NO MORE BLUE!

How did you decide to get into your line of work?
Plastering is inside work. And painting is very satisfying and complements good plastering... Many of my customers employ me and my team because we can plaster and paint. We fix it once and do it right. Not 1 trade blaming another trade for the others work costing you extras, to call the other back
