A fatal accident three months ago has left a water park in Kansas City with no choice but to dismantle its star attraction. The 17-storey tall Verrückt water slide has been inactive since the accident in August. "Verrückt will be decommissioned — closed permanently and the slide removed from the tower," a statement to the Kansas City Star from the park read.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is fine. It's a very pretty movie with a few really good performances (specifically Dan Fogler and Colin Farrell). US regulators want to limit what you can do with your smartphone while you're behind the wheel. Today, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) published its first safety guidelines regarding driver distraction, targeting portable and aftermarket devices (AKA smartphones) or other gear that you connect to your car.
