A teenage girl has been taken to hospital with possible spinal injuries after getting off a slide at Wet'n'Wild.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the girl in her late teens was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with a possible spinal injury.
Paramedics were called to the Oxenford theme park about noon on Wednesday.
In a statement, Wet'n'Wild said lifeguards assisted a park visitor after she complained of neck pain when she got off the Aqua Loop ride.
"Lifeguards and the on-site nurse provided first aid," the spokesman said.
"The guest advised lifeguards of a pre-existing condition and she was transported to hospital as a matter of precaution."
The spokesman said the safety and wellbeing of visitors was their highest priority.
"The park has a highly trained emergency response team and works closely with emergency services."
