Two people allegedly stole a dying man's credit card while others tried in vain to save his life after a car crash at Hervey Bay.
The widow of the 37-year-old man noticed his credit card had been used 11 times following his death on Saturday morning at businesses in Maryborough and Hervey Bay.
Queensland police say the credit card was stolen from the man's wallet while others were desperately attempting to deliver first aid to the critically injured man.
A 28-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were charged with stealing and fraud after a police raid in Hervey Bay.
The man was refused bail and will appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
The woman was bailed and is expected to appear in the same court on January 12.
