A Perth policeman who leaked information to his journalist girlfriend about Ben Cousins' arrest last year has been fined $3000 after pleading guilty to the claims.
Daniel James Erik Jamieson, 31, was charged with three counts of unauthorised disclosure of information by a public servant after he passed on details of police jobs to Channel Seven reporter Monique Dirksz in March 2015.

Jamieson sent her texts about Cousins' arrest after a low-speed pursuit, which gave Dirksz an exclusive story, and also about the electrocution of a boy in the Mandurah area and a pharmacy robbery in St James, the Perth Magistrates Court heard on Monday .
