In an era where truth in reporting-- especially in the western, rich countries-- has become a rare commodity, Venezuelanalysis allows a western, english audienc...e much needed balance in comparison to outlets from the New York Times through to even the UK Guardian that have increasingly taken their news stories from Venezuela as mere press releases from Opposition supporters.

When one considers that actions carried out by members of the Opposition in Venezuela would have led to martial law and massive crackdowns around the world, both the unique problems faced by Venezuela-- and the unique solutions that are being offered to the over 80% of the population the repeatedly denounce the violent, anti-constitutional acts of a small, wealthy and mostly white minority deserve and require a much wider broadcast.

Though small, underfunded and overworked, the English language news provided by Venezuelanalysis continues to be one of the few countervailing voices that more accurately represent the majority of those who continue to toil in Venezuela, making their news outlet vital to any who wish to understand the struggles of this vastly important northern South American country.

Cheeky Lady says: I believe with all my heart that Hugo Chavez gave his all to his countrymen and women! He stood steadfast with the courage needed to stand up... to the US, Americas deceitful law makers! I feel that President Maduro has been painfully saddled with constant negative interference from the US CRAPorations., sell-out law makers and the insatiable gr$$d of the wealthy.

It's time US citizen made it clear to our law makers that "We" have had enough of the games played by those eager to steal the resources of others...... And I believe that many Americans are finally waking up to that truth!

President Trump don't listen to your advisers if they say Venezuela is open for grabs! This country is NOT! The people of Venezuela will work out their problems! It's their right to do so! What America needs to do is "Butt Out"

Face this "Moment Of Truth" America!! The Jig is up!

An excellent bit of well-cited balance of the day-to-day social, economic and political goings-on in the South American country, within the English-language sph...ere of the international press, with reportage, coverage and analysis stretching from the democratically-elected government's grassroots street movement to the very top, all of which having been almost universally ignored in the mainstream press despite numerous Bolivarian victories in elections and referenda. Considering the grotesque regime change propaganda and fake news coming from Western news sources, particularly from the US, news outlets such as Venezuelanalys...is is crucial for learning the truth of what is happening in Venezuela from the voices of the people. Venezuelanalysis is essential to countering the manufactured dominant narrative of the western-backed, CIA managed, corporate controlled media. Ver más

This is my one of 3 sources of information that I rely on when trying to understand the complex situation in Venezuela. Their analysis is balanced and well backed by other sources and data. I highly recommend! Thanks for your great work

VA does amazing work and has been one of my primary sources of news for some time now. They publish important and in-depth work from a lot of great people, whic...h in turn helps form a more comprehensive understanding of the current context. This is particularly important at this critical time as Venezuela is experiencing a media blockade. The corporate media – the voice of the Pentagon and White House – has set up an international campaign of blatant lies in order to usher in US intervention for the purpose of installing right-wing neoliberal governance, which will effectively reverse the gains of the Bolivarian Revolution. Keep it up VA. Ver más

Since my first review has been deleted, I try again. This site is a one-sided communication channel for Venezuelas regime trying to justify their policies on in...augurating a communistic dictatorship in the country.
Readers discretion should be observed as you will be exposed to manipulative articles, twisting of the truth and absolutely no objective views on the situation in Venezuela.

Why my first review was deleted I don't know, but it is well known that communistic regimes don't tolerate criticism. Maybe it is the same situation with Venezuelanalysis.

I have been a reader and supporter of VA for many years. It is an invaluable source of direct news and analysis on the situation in Venezuela... in stark contrast to the black out , opposition propaganda or fake news of the mainstream media. Keep up the good work , now more than ever .

It's difficult to get carefully researched articles on Venezuelan politics and economics. Sharp political polarisation encourages conspiracy theories, making i...t difficult to find independent sources for academic and social analysis. This page is the exception, with serious debates and proper investigation. Ver más

High quality, in depth analysis, timely reporting on the ground, explicit anti-imperialist perspectives, and a wide range of journalistic and academic pieces covering ongoing economic and political developments and conflicts in Venezuela.

Blown away by the bullshit these somewhat educated authors write about a complete dictatorship, in fact on their website the "Basic facts" page isn't even updated with the new disgraceful constituency -- fucking idiots.

A heroic news site dedicated to telling the truth about Venezuela. Without this site, so many people would be blinded by the bourgeoisie press's lies and distortions.

Long live the Bolivarian Revolution!

Western countries are in a desperate need for an unbiased information on Venezuela. Venezuelanalysis provides a correct reporting and stands up as an important media on internet and social network.

One sided analysis is not analysis. The situation is such, for all in Venezuela, that reporting be meaningful and thurough. As someone who has read Venezuela Analysis for years to help round out my reading on the situation in the country, I've lost confidence.
