Warriors 12, Roosters 10
Brave showing from the Roosters, but it's the Warriors who come away with a narrow victory. They had the lion's share of chances but it took a moment of sheer magic from Shaun Johnson to finally break the visitors' resolve. Easts came back with a try out of nowhere and very nearly grabbed a second a minute later, but ultimately, fell agonisingly short. Thanks for following along, we'll see you tomorrow for the US Open, game seven of the NBA Finals, and Monday night's NRL action.
SKD loses it and that's the game!
Ayshford holds it on the last and is tackled into touch, it's a handover 10m out from the Roosters' line with 30 seconds to go!
The Warriors clear it long and then it's back with the Roosters again, but Matterson drops it cold on the last! He might have been hard done by here, he dropped it right onto his foot and then regathered it...there was no knock on!
The Roosters don't know it's the last tackle and Liu just takes a stock-standard hit up! It's a handover 10 metres out!
Back to topIssac Luke loses it in the play the ball! The Roosters have a scrum feed just 25m out!
The chooks really need to win here cos.....

check out there last 10 games 😬Sharks & Broncos twice, Storm Cowboys once + Eels,Dogs,Panthers
A bit of a nothing set for the Warriors before the Roosters get it back and a long kick from Matterson finds touch about 20m out. Can the Roosters somehow pull out a win? Five minutes to go.
Kenny-Dowall makes a huge break but then throws it over the sideline!
Wow. This was nearly two tries in two minutes as the big centre bursts down the right flank, but he tries to throw a low percentage offload to Watson instead of taking the tackle and it's the worst possible outcome!
SST splits the uprights and it's 12-10.
Back to topThe Roosters hit back out of nowhere!
Excellent work - first by SKD to throw an offload to Hastings, and then Isaac Liu for splitting them up the middle before drawing the fullback and passing to Watson who finishes it off. Game on!
Mannering puts it down 10m out - it was a very tough pass from Luke to haul in, though.
It's lost by Copley 30 out! The Warriors go back on the attack almost immediately.
Johnson bombs and Tupou does well to haul it in. The Roosters have to be totally out of gas at this point, can they find anything?
Luke converts. 12-4!
Back to topJohnson finally breaks them!
The red wall finally breaks - and it took a special play from a special player. He stepped off his left on the last and split them completely, he looked certain to score but required a second effort after Latrell Mitchell did really well to haul him in initially.
SKD is pinged for offside - after Jared Maxwell said "I won't warn you again", it's another warning. The Warriors have a full set 10m out though!
Manu saves the day again!
A superb cut-out pass from Lolohea is taken by Kata after a bobble, he's down the left wing and tries to throw it back to Lolohea who would have scored, but it comes off the head of Manu who then runs back to dive on it in his own in-goal!
completely agree - should be re-written as "denial of an obvious tryscoring opportunity" https://t.co/PTTnoSa95M

Bodene Thompson makes a break before being tackled five short of the line, but the kick on the last from Issac Luke is really poor and goes dead by a mile!
