Wow. After a dull first half, the second was one of the best of the year. Goalkicking has cost Penrith who have once again been involved in a nail-biter. Their margins so far this year; 8, 2, 1, 2, 2, 5, 4, 2. Not easy viewing if you're a diehard but great for the neutrals! It's no question that goalkicking was the difference - the Panthers scored four tries to three but are coming away with a defeat.
For Cronulla it's another win at home and you can legitimately argue that they are the third best team in the comp after the Broncos and Cowboys. Thanks for following along, we'll see you again for a triple header tomorrow!
They run it on the last, Wallace offloads and Fisher-Harris is tackled by a swarm of Sharks who lock up the ball as well! Handover!
Penrith are the best side to watch in 2016. Every game they've been involved in has been fantastic.#NRLSharksPanthers

Soward pushes it wide!!!! Cronulla still lead! 20-18.
FISHER-HARRIS HAS A DOUBLE!! THAT'S THE TRY OF THE YEAR SO FAR!!
Soward runs it on the last, he realises he's going to get caught and throws a blind pass to ground, it's scooped up by Peachey before going to Moylan for a flick pass, then Merrin, then Wallace for ANOTHER flick pass before the big prop shoots through a gap and a couple of tackles and gets it down. That was unbelievable. Huge kick coming up here for Soward...
Back to topNo issues for Maloney there and it's 20-14!
Holmes goes the distance!!! Pure speed from the winger - they go to the right edge and Soward was on the wing, no chance to make the tackle one-on-one and he's pushed away as Holmes streaks 70m up the field and cruises around to put it down right under the black dot!
After a clearing kick, Cronulla come again and nearly go through again with Townsend before a kick on the last from Holmes goes dead, giving Penrith an extra tackle in their set. Eight minutes to go!
Jack Bird loses it in the play the ball! He was a metre out from Penrith's line but the visitors are off the hook.
Creative option on the last, they run it down the short side with Fifita who is about to be trapped but he finds an offload which allows Maloney to dink a perfectly-measured kick into the in-goal and Moylan has to take it dead! Dropout as we enter the final 12 minutes!
Back to topAll tied up again! 14-14.
Magic from Chad Townsend to put Maloney over!!! The halfback splits them on the right, palming off Wallace easily, and has a pick of Lewis and Maloney to pass to in support and chooses the latter, who crosses underneath the posts!
Have Penrith learnt how to grind and come out the other side? Appears that way #NRLSharksPanthers

Magic stuff from Penrith!!! They go 60 metres in one play after offloads from Cartwright and Yeo before Soward in support finds Fisher-Harris for the try! Brilliant quick hands, it goes upstairs to check a knock-on in Fisher-Harris' initial hit up which sparked the whole play...I have to say, I think that was a knock on but it was sent up try and the decision stays as given!
I thought Townsend had given Cronulla the lead after he runs it on the last, passes to Bird who grubbers back in field for his halfback to scoop it up and score, but the replay shows he was marginally offside - that was the fastest bunker decision I can remember.
Back to topMoylan takes a towering bomb but is hammered by Fifita for his troubles, and cops a spray in the aftermath.
No goal from Soward and it stays 10-8.
Yeo gives Penrith the lead!!! Cartwright and Moylan link up out the back before the latter puts the makeshift centre through the gap to get it down!
Good kick from Moylan to force a drop out, Penrith with a big chance to take the lead here.
Townsend puts his halves partner Maloney through a gap and he was inches from planting the ball down but he loses it!
