Live NRL 2016 Round 8: Brisbane Broncos v South Sydney Rabbitohs

It's a comfortable win for the Broncos in what was a fiery clash to start the weekend off. A couple of quick tries in succession is what kill the Bunnies' hopes, as well as a brilliant acrobatic effort from Corey Oates. The news gets worse for the visitors with Hymel Hunt more than likely out for the season - there were parts of the game where the Rabbitohs looked decent, but overall the execution in attack is still very poor and discipline completely lacking in defence. 

Brisbane continue their march towards September and the way they're going, they have to be considered the clear favourites for the title. Thanks for following along, we'll see you tomorrow for a triple header.

Parker goes in - he's held up initially but then gets it down while still being tackled. This game has quickly blown wide open.

Kahu scores! That's the game - straight from the scrum Hunt kicks long for Roberts - he's in a foot race with two Rabbitohs in Keary and Gray, and ends up getting a toe to it...but all three of them go flying and Kahu easily grounds the ball as it sits right underneath the posts!

Aaron Gray came off the worst, he absolutely clattered into the upright.

That's a deadset miracle from Oates!!! He's seemingly wrapped up by Gray, it goes upstairs as No Try but somehow, someway he grounds it right in the corner without anything touching the sideline!! Unbelievable finish!

Milford's chip goes to Gray, who is hit perfectly by Oates who drives him back behind the tryline! Another drop out!

The two Bunnies kicks since Reynolds left the field have hit Kahu and Boyd on the chest. He is such a difference for this side.
