Sally Obermeder has welcomed her second child, four years after recovering from breast cancer.
The Daily Edition host revealed her family's new arrival on Instagram on Tuesday morning with a picture of her holding her baby daughter.
"Elyssa Rose Obermeder," she captioned the picture.
Baby Elyssa Rose will be a younger sister for Annabelle Grace, five.
The news comes just over four months after Obermeder, who was diagnosed with breast cancer the day before her first daughter was born, announced she and husband Marcus would be adding to their family via surrogate.
"Yes, it's true," Obermeder said in a July 29 Instagram post. "Thrilled to bits to share that [Marcus] and I are adding to our family thanks to the most incredible surrogate."
Obermeder has been on leave her hosting duties on The Daily Edition on October 28, travelling to the US for the birth of the baby.
Although she posted a picture of Annabelle Grace with the surrogate blurred in the background on the weekend, the family has kept the surrogate's identity a secret.
On Friday, the former Today Tonight reporter shared that her eldest daughter had been feeling homesick and upset that they would possibly still be in Milwaukee over Christmas after waiting longer than expected for the baby's birth.
But, her spirits were raised when staff at their hotel surprised her with a Christmas tree.
Obermeder was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2011.
She underwent eight months of chemotherapy and two mastectomies before being given the all clear in October 2012.
In a New Years reflection written in January, the National Breast Cancer Foundation ambassador revealed she had suffered a miscarriage.
"There was so much loss personally," Obermeder wrote on her Instagram account, reflecting on her 2015. "A miscarriage and the loss of Marcus' beautiful mum leaves us heartbroken but also all the more grateful for the love and the family that we do have and here's to a hope filled 2016."
