A 29-year-old man has been charged over the death of a man who was allegedly hit in the head with a brick at a Forrestfield home on Saturday.
The 40-year-old victim died in hospital after being injured in a fight after police were called to the Allamanda Way home at about 8pm after reports of an altercation and serious injuries.
St John Ambulance took the man to Royal Perth Hospital, where he later died.
Major Crime Squad detectives have charged the Forrestfield man with grievous bodily harm after he was taken into custody in Geraldton on Monday.
He was refused bail and was due to appear in the Geraldton Magistrates court this morning on Tuesday.
