Thevanard Island off the coast of Onslow is counting the cost of an overnight forklift rampage.
Karratha police said a fight in the early hours of Saturday sparked the destruction, which saw a 34-year-old man allegedly use a forklift to damage the solar panel station which supplies power to the whole island.

He is also accused of using the forklift to flip a bus, used to transport tourists, onto its roof before doing the same thing to a ute.
The damage bill is estimated at $150,000.

The 34-year-old has been charged with criminal damage.
