The X Factor Australia: Isaiah Firebrace takes out grand final
Isaiah Firebrace couldn't have asked for a better birthday present after taking out 2016's The X Factor.
The now 17-year-old from Moama in NSW was crowned on Monday, singing his debut single It's Gotta Be You.
"This has been my dream, and I can't believe it came true on my birthday," he said.
"Thank you guys so much."

His coach and mentor, Amercian singer Adam Lambert, was all smiles as he congratulated his pick.
"This kid has got the voice," he said.
"He knows how to create magic and it's so exciting."
Firebrace beat out runner up Davey Woder, 34, an eccentric tyre fitter from Logan in Queensland.

Dubbed the "bogan from Logan", Woder sung his audition song as his debut single, a self-written song about his fiancee.
Firebrace had tried his hand at the song competition last year, but famously forgot the lyrics of a song during a boot camp performance, costing him a place in the competition.

Two years later and he's now taking home a recording contract with Sony Music Australia.
The X Factor grand final also saw performances from international acts including Robbie Williams, Charlie XCX and Tove Lo.
It is the seventh season of the Channel Seven show.
