A male student with hypothermia was flown from from Kosciusko National Park to the Canberra Hospital on Friday morning.
The Snowy Hydro South Care helicopter was tasked to a primary mission to the site of Australia's highest peak at about 10.30am for a patient with a medical condition.
A Snowy Hydro spokeswoman said the male, who was in a school group, was airlifted to Canberra Hospital with hypothermia.
