Chretien, who has come to previous Public Matter events, came to the event last night to see the artwork of an artist who started as a vandal in New York in the 1970s; he is always happy to hear the band play....

The Grand Theatre inside of The Grand Sierra Resort is the premier concert venue in Reno, hosting some of the biggest names in the music industry. Michael McDonald filled that mold, but the sound did not step up on this night. I don't know what happened, but I could tell that not all of the speaker columns on and above the stage were being used ... There was no shortage of excitement in the crowd when the band started playing ... THE BAND....
