Bi folding doors

I went to a great barbecue a few months ago in Richmond in a lovely house a lovely Victorian house with an amazing garden which that was led through to via the open plan kitchen and some fantastic bi folding doors.

The house was beautiful as I said and although it was only a three bedroom terraced house it was valued at well over £1 million. They had done a lot of great work in the house, replacing all the windows, with lovely sash windows which made the place look very original i’m very classy.

For me, the best part of the house was the extension lead through to the garden, it was there an amazing design lots of glass in the roof to allow light to falling and these amazing bi folding doors. The house itself was the full wits of the plot and the garden therefore was to sign this was due to the fact that it was a terrace house even though a very large terraced house.

The glazing made the house look spectacular, the roof lighting was quite spectacular because it let in so much light and made the extension which was really the kitchen and dining area look enormous. And the bi folding doors which lead to the garden as I mentioned earlier were really quite amazing because the back of the house opened up completely to let all the light in access to the back garden it really made the back garden and extension of the house and another room to be used for entertaining.

I was so impressed with the work on the house phone. I asked the owner for the name of the builder who built the extension and the name of the glazier who put in the roof lights and the bi folding doors because the job was absolutely stunning. The builder was J. Thomas from Richmond and the glazier was www.redbridgeglass247.co.uk, both excellent companies.

The Chrysler 300

The Chrysler 300 is a tasty vehicle and we are talking about the newer one here on this blog. It was first introduced in 2003 in NYC as a concept. It began selling in 2004, must have been a good show in 2003!! And designed by Ralph Gilles. It was designed as a luxury vehicle and a real limousine at heart and had a SRT-8 version, which was the faster brother.

It started selling in Europe in 2011 as the Lancia Thema, while it was still the Chrysler in Ireland and the UK. Not sure why that decision was taken, I will try and find out and come back to you.

The car itself comes from the Chrysler LX design and was rear wheel drive, which in itself was born of the Mercedes E Class. So a mixed pedigree or a mutt as some would say. I wouldn’t as I am not American. And is front suspension comes out of the Mercedes S Class, so those boys at chrysler chose some good cars to steal from, I guess if you are going to borrow, do it from the best.

Here we have 2 nice videos, advertising videos of the lovely car, showing how stunning it is and a beautiful vehicle.

There are 4 variations;

  1. Base
  2. Touring
  3. Limited
  4. 300C
  5. SRT8

It has 17 inch wheels and basic trim and features in the Base model. The Touring has leather trim, aluminium wheels 17 inch, remote keyless entry. The Limited has a bigger engine, 18 inch chrome-clad aluminium wheels and anto roll bars. The top of the range 300C has a 5.7l V8, 5 speed gearbox with 18 inch chrome clad aluminium wheels and is turbo!! But the SRT8 has the 6.1l Hemi engine and can do 0-60 in 4.9 seconds.

There are other models, an estate, a diesel a convertible a ASC Helios version, Executive series 300 and a Heritage Edition 300C. And of course they have had many 300C’s extended into limousines. And these limos have been very popular around the world
