The gumnut mafia has a new chapter: child stars.

Capri Reynolds is the latest big name coming out of Hollywood and she's only three years old. Having landed a national advertising campaign for Ugg, the pint-sized model now appears in two-metre tall posters alongside model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley around the United States, including at celebrity shopping hang out, The Grove.

"We were shopping last week and she saw the photo in the window and started screaming 'There's Capri! There's Capri!'," her mum, The Morning Show LA correspondent Kathryn Eisman said.

Reynolds, who has an Australian accent despite being born in LA, was cast in the Christmas campaign thanks to her connections – an Australian executive at Ugg.

"We turned down a lot of things when she was younger like nappy commercials but agreed to let her do it as we knew the people and trusted the brand," Eisman said.

Advertising runs in the tot's blood: her father is Siimon Reynolds was an executive who was part of the advertising group behind the notorious "Grim Reaper" AIDS campaign in the 1980s.

AACTA red carpet on Sacha Baron Cohen alert

The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards will get an injection of international star power with former Home & Away star turned comedic powerhouse Isla Fisher heading back down under to collect the annual Trailblazer Award.

Fisher, who cut her acting teeth on the soap before going on to star in Wedding Crashers, Confessions of a Shopaholic and the new comedy Keeping Up with the Joneses, will be accompanied by her husband, Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen.

Cohen is equally as famous for his red carpet antics. In 2012 dressed in character from his film The Dictator he poured "the ashes of Kim Jong-il" over Ryan Seacrest. This year he was tasked with presenting an Oscar and did so in character as his Ali G alter ego with the help of Fisher who smuggled in the costume and helped him get dressed in the disabled toilets.

Mel Gibson, Geoffrey Rush, Rose Byrne, Dr George Miller and Bindi Irwin will also be front row at the AACTAs.

Head over to Daily Life's Facebook page for live coverage of the red carpet on Wednesday afternoon.
