Research
The Salvation Army has a long tradition of advocacy on behalf of the most disadvantaged members of the Australian community. Evidence based research is a vital component of our capacity to deliver innovative approaches to social program delivery and to inform policy responses that best advocate the needs of individual, family and community needs.
Our research focuses on investigations into housing and homelessness, including youth homelessness, mental health and homelessness; gender based housing affordability; alcohol awareness; drug use; poverty and economic disadvantage.
