Upstairs from Melbourne smokehouse Fancy Hank's it's less barbecue and more bar snacks at "Hank goes to Miami" rooftop bar Good Heavens.
It's a reverse of the smart dark timber vibe of its restaurant sibling on level one, says co-owner Kent Bell: lagoon blue colour scheme, umbrellas and faux-terracotta decking overlooking Bourke Street's treetops.
On the rooftop, Fancy Hank's brisket comes in nacho form, the smoky burnt ends chopped atop corn chips with a sticky-sweet mole, fist-sized cheeseburgers are a classic combo of soft bun, yellow cheese and single patty, and everyone's favourite American side dish, tater tots, come slathered in blue cheese dressing and shredded smoked chicken.

Get your Harvey Wallbanger on with an '80s-inspired cocktail list, or work your way through a rotating beer selection from the 10 taps, including obscure American brews. First up is a Dead Guy Ale from Oregon.
This is one Melbourne bar that won't be hard to find – look up for the 2.5 metre pink and blue neon sign on Bourke Street.
Open Mon-Thu 4pm-1am; Fri-Sun noon-1am.
