The ABC will end its shortwave transmission service in the Northern Territory and to international audiences from 31 January 2017.
ABC main channel is making the transition to high definition on 6 December 2016. Viewers with HD compatible TVs will be able to experience ABC in spectacular HD, including this year’s New Year’s Eve fireworks.
