ABC NewsA woman who fell from the second floor of an apartment building has sparked another emergency at a hospital in western Sydney, after having to be cut from a car.
Police said the 26-year-old was waving goodbye to a friend when she plunged two floors down from the Lidcombe complex.
The friend drove the injured woman to Auburn Hospital, but staff were concerned about moving her from the car.
Firefighters cut open the left side of the vehicle so the victim could be carefully put onto a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance.
