It's High Noon somewhere. The gang plays more Overwatch. Overwatch, developed by Blizzard entertainment, is a team based first person shooter with richly detailed characters in a semi futuristic setting. Players choose a hero/role to play in the game ranging from offense, defense, support or tank. Using teamwork and skill up to 6 players defeat the opposing team and capture objective points or escort a payload to a destination, or prevent its arrival. Decades ago robots, known as omnics, took over the world. To defeat them, Overwatch was formed. With their skills and abilities, humanity was freed. Now, Overwatch has long been disbanded but the world is falling into chaos. Dark and mysterious forces are rising and Overwatch is needed once again... Somehow this means that old allies are now enemies because in game very little story is told. Genji Shimada is a cyborg ninja. Younger brother to Hanzo Shimada, Genji was nearly killed over the leadership of the Shimada clan. Rebuilt as a cyborg, Genji gained considerable power but resented his mechanical body. The monk, Zenyatta, taught Genji to come to terms with his dual nature. Now Genji is whole once again. Bastion is one of many Bastion unit robots. These robots formed the majority of the omnic soldiers during their uprising. The one the players play as was damaged and sat rusting in nature for decades. Randomly reactivated, it shies away from humanity and seeks to live a peaceful life with the wild. Torbjörn "Torby" Lindholm is one of the greatest weapon smiths and engineers the world has ever known. The majority of Overwatch's technology can be traced directly back to the short dwarf (who is apparently not actually a dwarf). Widowmaker was once Amélie Lacroix and married to an Overwatch agent, named Gérard, focusing against a enemy group known as Talon. After many failed assassination attempts on Gérard, Talon instead kidnapped Amélie and brainwashed her. After her rescue, she killed her husband and Talon further enhanced her, turning her into the sniper Widowmaker. Lena "Tracer" Oxton was a British pilot who flew an experimental aircraft known as the Slipstream which used a teleportation matrix. Shockingly there was a malfunction and Tracer disappeared for months. Her brief returns confirmed that she was temporally out of sync. Winston developed her chronal accelerator who allow Tracer to control her manipulations of time. With this she became an extremely effective member of Overwatch, Hana "D.Va" Song is a professional gamer from South Korea and an international icon. Holding long streaks of wins in professional gaming circuits, notably in Starcraft, MEKA recruited her to pilot their mechs against an omnic who threatened her homeland. Reinhardt Wilhelm is a neo knight in the modern era. He lives by knightly values including valor, justice, and courage. Armed with a powerful shield and massive maul, he is a major force on the battlefield. Dr. Angela "Mercy" Ziegler helped design and wielded the Valkyrie suit to better assist front line medical emergencies. A true force for good, Mercy travels the world to help those in need and was a major asset to Overwatch. Zenyatta is a Shambali monk who left his order to directly help the world. He is an omnic who believes in peace and harmony. At some point he helped Genji come to terms with his cybernetic body. Ana Amari, mother to Fareeha aka Pharah, was a founder of Overwatch. As a sniper, Ana heavily bears the weight of everyone she has killed. In a confrontation with Widowmaker, it was believe Ana was killed. Now returned and equipped with a biotic rifle to heal her allies, a strong ally has returned from the grave. Jesse McCree was formerly an arms dealer until Overwatch overthrew his Deadlock Gang. Instead of going to jail, McCree joined the covert branch of Overwatch, known as Blackwatch, until the group was disbanded and he became a mercenary seeking to atone for his past. Fareeha "Pharah" Amari seeks to make the world a better place and with her long familial line of military members, has a strong sense of altruism. Armed with the Raptora Mark VI combat suit, she is a major force of firepower on the battlefield. Gabriel "Reaper" Reyes was a US soldier and second in command of Overwatch itself. Disgruntled at being passed over for leadership, he caused a civil war among the group that resulted in their facility being destroyed. This marked the end of the man who will become known as Reaper. Some time later a black robed figure began hunting former Overwatch members. This Reaper seemed to be immortal and his identity is currently unknown.
