  • In a message that seemed to come out of the blue, President-elect Donald J. Trump took to Twitter to object to Boeing’s “$4 billion” plans for a next-generation plane.
  • Mr. Trump, who has his own jetliner, accused Boeing of escalating the costs of replacing the aging aircraft commissioned by President Ronald Reagan.
