“The most coveted piece on my Christmas list this year is the Censer Incense Burner by Apparatus. I am a sucker for decorative objects, especially those that are useful too. This incredible piece is sculptural and elegant. I think it will fit nicely under my tree.”

The Woodland Four Leg Stool from Globe West is a beautifully versatile piece. I love its naive shape, and being timber it’s warm and durable. Its uses are endless. I’ll use it in the bathroom for feet pampering, or in the kids’ playroom as a climbing step or extra seat.”

“We are coveting stunning Belgian linen bedding from Sheets on the Line. The muted colour palette and soft texture helps to create a relaxed, sophisticated retreat that will have us drifting off to sleep in no time.”

“A beautiful Pampa Cushion would be most welcome. Hand-woven using Argentinian sheep’s wool, it’s filled with feathers and features a trim of gorgeous handmade pompoms. Also, a reindeer hide from Eccola for a chair that is in dire need of re-upholstering. I can drape this gorgeous fur over it in the meantime and later move it somewhere else in the house. It’s a classic.”  Note: Reindeer are sought for food in areas of Scandinavia. This hide is a by-product and completes the sustainable recycling process.

“A stash of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I love this cult product, not just because of its versatility – it goes on just about any surface without priming or sanding and is quick and easy to use – but also because the extensive colour palette is just beautiful.”

“This Christmas I would flip with excitement if I was given this beautiful antique Japanese ebonised oak pedestal desk from Vault Antiques. I am working on creating a study for myself at home next year and I would love to have this desk as its centrepiece.”

“I am obsessed with the cool neon art from Neon Poodle – especially Florence the Flamingo. What house wouldn’t benefit from a flamingo?”

Indigo Folk pots from Pop and Scott is top of my list. I encourage clients to keep their overall interior base selections neutral and use feature pieces to create drama and personality. These beautiful hand-painted pots will add colour and playful pattern. Indoor plants are a great way to brighten up your space too.”

“First on the list is Ben Pentreath’s new book English Houses: Inspirational Interiors from City Apartments to Country Manor Houses. He is the most wonderful interior designer and a master at mixing old with new. Another vintage Staffordshire Beswick Dog to add to my ever-growing collection would be appreciated and a fantastic Victorian oil portrait please. I find them versatile and very amusing. Hang them anywhere in the house. I have one above my toilet and another in the kitchen. They are a great conversation piece and surprisingly affordable.”

“I am hoping for a Covet and Ginger Double-Dipped Coffee Mug or two! Hand thrown with a strong 1970s vibe, they feature the most beautiful shades of blue with a stripe of unglazed Oregon stoneware clay in-between. I can’t think of a nicer way to take my morning coffee.”
