A trough will generate potentially severe storms and very warm winds in northeastern NSW, QLD, the NT and northern WA. Hot easterlies will develop in western WA. A high will cause brisk winds to ease and most showers to clear in SA, TAS, VIC and NSW and snow to clear on the Alps. More Synoptic information
Speckled low cloud over southern parts of SA with a disturbed flow in the wake of a cold front is producing gusty showers. Thick cloud with a trough is producing thunderstorms in the far northeast, clearing into QLD.
