Center for Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) Imaging in Vivo Physiology - University of Chicago
The Center for Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) Imaging in Vivo Physiology is a consortium of institutions working to invent in Vivo imagers. The Center partners include: University of Chicago, University of Denver, University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne and the Novosibirsk Institute of Organic Chemistry. The researchers are developing EPR spin probes that report oxygen concentrations and image reconstruction techniques to provide images of near absolute oxygen concentrations in living animals with potential human application. This unique oxygen imaging technology is being used experimentally to track and treat cancer and other diseases and conditions. http://epri.uchicago.edu/- published: 15 Feb 2014

Meet Magnetic Resonance Capability Lead Nancy Washton: NMR/EPR Lab, EMSL's Radiochemistry Annex
Scientist Nancy Washton describes the NMR and EPR Laboratory in EMSL's Radiochemistry Annex and the types of research that can be done using nuclear magnetic resonance and electron paramagnetic resonance instruments. Washton discusses why users would want to do research in NMR/EPR Laboratory and why is it important to have a facility like the Radiochemistry Annex.- published: 10 Feb 2014

ACERT, Cornell University - Facilitating Modern Biochemistry, Biomedical and Biophysics Research
The National Biomedical Research Center for AdvanCed ESR Technology (ACERT) is an outgrowth of extensive experience in developing the methods of modern electron spin resonance (ESR, a.k.a. EPR-Electron Paramagnetic Resonance) by Prof. Jack H. Freed's research group at Cornell University. The technologies upon which this Center is based are in many respects unique. These principal areas of our expertise are: 1) Pulsed Fourier Transform and Two Dimensional ESR, 2) High Frequency-High Field (HFHF) ESR, 3) High Resolution ESR Microscopy, 4) Theory and Computational Methods for Modern ESR.
