Motorised picnic table hits the water

This motorised picnic table with cans of Emu Export and water skiing may be the most Australian thing ever.

"To have this young man riding around poorly lit streets whilst alcohol affected, with no vehicle lights and not wearing any protective equipment, it's simply a recipe for disaster," Leading Senior Constable Adam Dickenson posted on the Eyewatch Yarra Ranges facebook page.

Western Australia has seen its fair share of reckless behaviour on these contraptions, with a Wanneroo man arrested in April for a similar offence.

And a group of mates hit the headlines for tooling around on a pair of motorised picnic tables, while another man made a motorised couch to get from A to B.
