Murrumbeena house shot at in dawn attack

Three people have escaped unharmed after a house was shot at in Melbourne's south-east.

Police were called to George Street, Murrumbeena shortly before 8am on Sunday after shots were reportedly fired at a home where the three people were sleeping.

Windows at the front of the house were damaged but nobody was injured in the incident, believed to have occurred between 4.30am and 5am.
