Tides are the rise and fall of sea levels caused by the combined effects of gravitational forces exerted by the Moon, Sun, and rotation of the Earth.
The times and amplitude of tides at a locale are influenced by the alignment of the Sun and Moon, by the pattern of tides in the deep ocean, by the amphidromic systems of the oceans, and the shape of the coastline and near-shore bathymetry (see Timing). Some shorelines experience a semi-diurnal tide - two nearly equal high and low tides each day. Other locations experience a diurnal tide - only one high and low tide each day. A "mixed tide"; two uneven tides a day, or one high and one low, is also possible.
Tides vary on timescales ranging from hours to years due to a number of factors. To make accurate records, tide gauges at fixed stations measure the water level over time. Gauges ignore variations caused by waves with periods shorter than minutes. These data are compared to the reference (or datum) level usually called mean sea level.
Jack & Jack is an American pop-rap duo from Omaha, Nebraska, consisting of Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky, who are now based in Los Angeles, California. After success via the social media app Vine, the duo turned to a career as musicians. They are best known for their 2014 single "Wild Life" which has peaked to number 2 on iTunes and to number 87 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Both attended Omaha Westside High School.
Jack Edward Johnson and Jack Finnegan Gilinsky were born in Omaha, Nebraska. The pair met on the first day of kindergarten, both wearing the same shirt, both named Jack; and remained friends throughout their elementary and high school years.
Jack & Jack's comedy career began in 2007 with the creation of their first collaboration YouTube channel MotherFalconQuagmire. The short satires included lip syncing music videos, short parodies of popular songs, and British-speaking lads. Although only made as a side hobby during free time, their videos were received by a considerable audience of hundreds, but faded abruptly not long after the pair started high school.

Most people are already familiar with the idea of high and low tides, but where do they come from? What causes this movement and why does it occur with such regularity? It's because your mental picture of the tides is probably WRONG!!! Join Gabe on this week’s episode of PBS Space Time as he sets the record straight on tidal force, gravitational differential and what role the moon actually plays in tides. Some of the lyrics might be wrong.. It was a little bit hard to understand what Gilinsky was saying in some bits !!
The video explains how high tide and low tide occurs on earth. It shows how moon influences tides on earth. The world's hjghest tides occur in the Bay of Fundy in Atlantic Canada. This time lapse movie speeds up by 720 times the fall and rise of the tide in Hall's Harbour, Nova Scotia.

Tides are the periodic rise and fall of sea levels caused by the gravitational forces exerted by the Moon and the Sun. When there is a new moon or full moon, the sun, moon and earth are aligned. The higher gravitational pull of these combined forces results in higher than normal high tides and lower than normal low tides. These are called Spring Tides. During the moon's quarter phases, the line from the Earth to the Moon is at right angles to the line from the Earth to the Sun. Consequently the tide generating forces of the sun and moon oppose each other, thereby producing tidal ranges that are approximately 20% lower than the mean tidal range. We call these Neap Tides.
This was a high school math project so it is does not contain every single detail. It's only purpose was just to show a visual representation to receive a grade in my class. Math Project II
Come storm, come fire, we stride in thunder.
Sea torn asunder now wears the crown
Lust, loneliness, unearthed rejection
Soul resurrection in forms unknown
New field swept off the stains of time
On a course to a destination
Earthbound yet undetainable,
defiant to ride with the tide
Soulflight to a realm beneath the soil
Soulflight!
Do you deserve a compensation?
Lost hope in a maelstrom
Still drifting with the tide
Faint recollection, beconing disaster
Obey the master who sings of doom
Asured demise but who`s going under
Possessed to plunder the virtue in truth
New field swept off the stains of time
On a course to a destination
Earthbound yet undetainable,
defiant to ride with the tide
Soulflight to a realm beneath the soil
Soulflight!
Do you deserve a compensation?
