Punk Statik Paranoia is the third album by the alternative metal band Orgy. It was released on February 24, 2004.
The album's style is a big departure from the industrial and electronic sound that was present in Candyass and Vapor Transmission, leaning more to a nu-metal sound similar to bands like Korn and Linkin Park. It is also the first Orgy album to feature occasional screaming vocals. Upon its release it was heavily rejected by fans of the first two records and sharply divided Orgy's fanbase.
Punk Statik Paranoia debuted at #11 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart. The album sold 5,353 copies during its first week of release.
My Head was a grunge/alternative rock power trio from Los Angeles, California, United States formed in 1993 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Adam Siegel and drummer Greg Saenz. Due to its member's past on Excel, My Head's sound was influenced by early 1980s Crossover Thrash music, but also by the growing grunge movement impulsed by bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Even after its dissolution My Head recorded three tracks for two different Mike Muir's releases: Pneumonia (EP later included on the album Mas Borracho by Infectious Grooves) and Friends & Family, Vol. 2 by Suicidal Tendencies.
Inside My Head is a two disc compilation album by Richard Marx, his tenth overall. It consists of songs from previous albums Emotional Remains and Sundown, new recordings of some of his biggest hits, as well as new material. The album features four new never before released songs: "Wouldn't Let Me Love You," "Like Heaven," "All Over Me," and "Scars." "Wouldn't Let You Love Me" was released May 21, 2012 as the lead single. The album itself was released June 1, 2012, exclusively in Europe.
In modern usage, an orgy is a sex party where guests freely engage in open and unrestrained sexual activity or group sex.
Swingers' parties do not always conform to this designation because at many swinger parties the sexual partners may all know each other or at least have some commonality among economic class, educational attainment or other shared attributes. Some swingers contend that an orgy, as opposed to a sex party, requires some anonymity of sexual partners in complete sexual abandon.<ref name="differences cited in "Swinger Survey Results on Difference Between Orgies and Group Sex">Wojick, Helen (October 2010). "Swinger Survey Results on Difference Between Orgies and Group Sex". The Swingers Blog. Retrieved April 26, 2012. </ref> Other kinds of "sex party" may fare less well with this labeling.
Participation in an "orgy" is a common sexual fantasy and group sex targeting such consumers is a subgenre in pornographic films.
The term is also used metaphorically in expressions, such as an "orgy of colour" or an "orgy of destruction" to indicate excess, overabundance. The term "orgiastic" does not generally connote group sex and is closer to the classical roots and this metaphorical usage.
The Obvious is an independent alternative/punk rock band that was formed in Asbury Park, New Jersey in mid-2005. The band currently consists of frontwoman Surojanie "Angie" Sugrim (guitar, lead vocals), Dan Astorri (lead guitar, vocals), and Biff Swenson (bass). (As of January 2016 they are courting a particular drummer and hope to make an official announcement soon.) The band has shared a similar style to other punk/alt-rock bands such as early Nirvana, Hole, and the Afghan Whigs. The Obvious has developed itself to be one of the most prominent punk rock acts to come out of the mid-2000s revival of the Asbury Park music scene.
The Obvious originally began as a duo founded by Angie Sugrim and Dan Astorri. The two friends had grown up in the suburbs of New Jersey and had begun playing music together around the time they were in high school. Similarly influenced by early 90's alternative rock, Sugrim and Astorri began writing songs together for themselves in the basement of Astorri's childhood home.

Chemicals keep me under control
Chemicals keep me under control
Chemicals keep me under control
Chemicals keep me under control
Sleeping at the wheel
I can't feel my face
Maybe it's better this way
My stomach's twisted, all tied up in knots
And I'm feeling like I don't want this
Killing time as the clock goes
Tick tock, tick tock
They'll never keep you away from me
I know where you'll be tomorrow
What difference does it make to you?
I don't care ain't got the time
Winning the race for another line
It's written in my mind
Just to get it all away from me
Away from me
'Cause I think I'm falling
'Cause I think I'm falling
Falling out of touch with life
And I'm thinking it's all just a big mistake
I think I'm falling
Falling, out of touch with life
So what have I been telling myself?
Must be the rage deep down inside of me
Eating me away
Eating me away
Feelings are so vague, so wrong
So what have I been telling myself?
So I've been chosen
To be the victim of
Your misery
That's right I'm frozen
Chemicals keep me under control
So cold from all the ice and amphetamines
That I just might make you think
That Jesus was your middle name
As though it seems to be an act of God
But for now go ahead and believe what
You want to believe
'Cause I think I'm falling
'Cause I think I'm falling
Falling out of touch with life
And I'm thinking it's all just a big mistake
I think I'm falling
Falling out of touch with life
So what have I been telling myself
Must be the rage deep down inside of me
Eating me away
Eating me away
Feelings are so vague
So wrong
So what have I been telling myself?
Must be the rage deep down inside of me
Eating away
Eating me away
Feelings are so vague
So what have I been telling myself?
Myself
You know what kills me?
Chemicals keep me under control
Why is everybody hooked on
When you feel so desperate you got your grip on me
I take away all the trust and all the sympathy
Why is everybody hooked on everybody else
I'll guess I'll never understand it
Come and fill your head with lies
No I can't explain
Why everyone seems so vague
Must be the rage deep down inside of me
Eating me away
Eating me away
Feelings are so vague
So what have I been telling myself?
Feelings are so vague
So what have I been telling myself?
Must be the rage deep down inside of me
Eating away
Eating me away
Feelings are so vague
So what have I been telling myself?
Deep Inside it's eating me away
Feelings are so vague
Feelings are so vague
