My eight year old daughter and I absolutely love this 'Girl Stuff 8-12'. It has her thoroughly engaged and she has been comfortably, and frequently, initiating conversations all over the place, with me and my husband, with her three older brothers and with girls at school, about all the exciting changes that will happen to her over the next few years! We read the chapters on friendships and bullying when something occurred at school and it really seemed to help. Much like Kaz Cooke's pregnancy guide 'Up the Duff', the humour is crazy and engaging and a great leveller. My daughter has asked me to make sure she gets the older version (12-18 years) of 'Girl Stuff' for her twelfth birthday!

This is a great book, for those unsure/concerned about opening their little one's eyes up to the world of sex etc etc. It's perfectly placed with 8-10 year olds. Diagrams are provided. A nice sequential flow of thought through the daunting teenage years is covered in a user friendly style.

I bought this for my 8nyr old daughter who has been very inquisitive about her body and what's happening. She loves this book and reads a bit every night. If she needs any further explanation or understanding, she comes to me.
