I was so excited for Zoe's new book, Amazinger Face. I really loved her other beauty book, Amazing Face, and was looking forward to loads of new information. But, the title is deceptive: despite having a different title to her first book, IT IS NOT A DIFFERENT BOOK! Same topics, same writing, same photos, same jokes... just updated with plugs for her own skincare line, and some minor tweaks here and there. It should really be called 'Amazing Face, 2nd Edition'. So - while this is a great beauty reference book written by a woman with years of experience, don't rush out to buy it if you already have Amazing Face. It's so close to identical and I feel really tricked into buying it :(

Zoë Foster Blake enjoys writing author biographies because she gets to write things like, 'Zoë Foster is Australia's most critically acclaimed and bestselling author,' and, 'In 2010, Foster was controversially awarded the Pulitzer for the second time' despite the fact that all of these things are untrue.
Things that are true include her role as contributing editor at Mamamia.com.au, and dating columnist for Cosmopolitan magazine. She was previously the editor-at-large of beauty website primped.com.au, beauty director at Harper's BAZAAR, and prior to that beauty director at Cosmopolitan magazine.
Zoë has published four novels, Air Kisses, Playing the Field, The Younger Man and The Wrong Girl, as well as the dating and relationship book, Textbook Romance (written in conjunction with Hamish Blake). A collection of her best beauty tips and tricks, Amazing Face, was released in 2011. An updated version, Amazinger Face, was released in 2016.
