Tom Noir Comments: “Thank Zorgon everything on this world is so tiny,” mused our hero. “I wouldn’t want to face that dinosaur full size. Hey,” he added, “is that guy wearing a nappy?”

The embarrassment of showing up on your own book cover to find someone else has the same hairdo.

“Bird Hairdo”? I’d go for “big hair” or “mullet” or “slicked-back duck tail”. Unless that pterodactyl is sporting a mohawk.

Maq Ancor – Master Assassin. You’ll never see him coming if your eyes happened to be closed.

I was watching one of my favourite terrible made-for-TV movies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmqSbpaVYZc and thinking ‘this needs spaceships, lasers and a ginger wig’.

It’s a Colin Kapp novel I’ve not read but if his habit of using Scottish slang as futuristic argot persists it might be even better than the cover suggests.

“Welcome to Creationist Theme Park where, as our displays clearly show, you will discover that dinosaurs, aboriginal humans, spaceships and really bad haircuts all coexisted at the same period in history!”

So the guy in the space adult diaper just screams “Space Inca” to me. And the guy with the gun is supposed to be a “master assassin”, I hear – however, the fire-engine-red dye job merely makes him extra-conspicuous. I’m just thinking that this book is clearly, without needing to read it, cheesy as hell.

    Today’s found poem:

    When Harlie was One
On the Lost Worlds of Cronus
    The Masters in Hell
    Shot in the Dark
    and wrought
    Terror on the Planet Ionus

    But the Planet Wizard
From the Well of the Worlds
    struck back
    Twice in Time
    and then soon
    Neveryona was seen in a
    Thongor, of Lemuria,
    while the
    Pursuit on Ganymede
    ended up in Glory Lane,
    where all is Vanitas.

    LOL!

As Pooh Bear said, ‘Poetry isn’t something you find, it’s something that finds you.’

    The Lost Worlds of Cronuts
The land before time where that tasty croissant-doughnut was invented.
