A three-year-old boy has been found after a traumatic two hour ordeal, in which the car he was sleeping in was stolen from outside his family's East Victoria Park home at 1.50pm on Friday afternoon.
The blue 2013 Subaru Impreza hatch was stolen from Westminster Street, and was driven through a picket fence after the engine was momentarily left running at the home.

The offender finally abandoned the car on Gloucester Street in Victoria Park with Joseph left inside - police confirming his safety at 4.05pm.
Police said they have since commenced a wide search for the culprit.

Earlier in the afternoon police spokesman Samuel Dinnison confirmed police were on the hunt for the thief and the youngster after the incident was reported to Police.
"The vehicle was stolen from Westminster Street in East Victoria Park," he said.
