A motorcyclist is dead after losing control of their bike on a Pacific Motorway on-ramp in Brisbane's south.
Police warned that the crash, at the Mount Gravatt northbound on-ramp would cause "significant traffic disruption" and urged motorists to stay away.
The ramp remained closed after the crash, about 6.30am.
"We are currently getting the forensic crash unit out to determine the cause of the incident," Inspector Rob Graham said.
"However there will be significant traffic disruption, during peak hour, in the vicinity of the Mains Road onramp, University Road, and KlumpΒ Road, to northbound traffic."

Earlier, a water truck driver was rushed to hospital after his vehicle rolled into a home in Redland Bay.
Two adults and a dog in the house just after 6am escaped injury but paramedics treated the man for serious leg injuries, after reports the truck rolled on him.
Police believed the man had tried to jump free of the truck.
