Sighting off the Angolan coast

Published August 9th, 2015 by Bobby Henderson

Reputable science magazine New Scientist reports that the FSM has been spotted off the Angolan coast (an area notorious for Piracy).

I’m happy about the sighting and encouraged that serious science journalism is talking about the FSM so freely.

You can read more about the sighting and watch the video of the FSM at New Scientist here.

NASA released this photo of a “mystery object” on Mars spotted a few days ago. No official word on what it may be, but clearly resembles the FSM.

E. Coli resembles the FSM — coincidence?

Published October 3rd, 2012 by Bobby Henderson

e-coli

The attached photo is of a small, hand-held, plush creature meant to represent the bacterium E. Coli. I obtained this little guy at a science fair in Corvallis Oregon. I believe the creature looks a lot like Him and I think that the fact that it was obtained at a science fair is no small coincidence…

I spotted the FSM at the Olympics

And He has the best seat in the house.

Nate, I think you might be right, but can we be sure this is the FSM, and not a Pastafarian evangelizing with athletic tape? I will watch more beach volleyball to investigate. For science.

Fellow Pastafarians,

I was pleased to discover clear representations of the FSM in artwork all over The Royal Playa del Carmen resort on the coast of Mexico.

Ancient Swedish Pirate

I was stunned by the Sightings page on the church website, and something told me I’d be able to witness FSM right away.

I reached to my bookshelf and immediately had two sightings.
Picture 1 is handcrafted postcards I recently bought in a local department store.

Picture 2 is a souvenir a friend of mine brought from Sweden. I originally thought it depicted a viking, but now I have no doubt this is an ancient Swedish pirate, blessed by a beard in His image and His likeness.

Peace,

Clearly the young one has been noodled

Published February 20th, 2012 by Bobby Henderson

Young-Drawing

My boyfriend’s granddaughter drew the attached, of her own volition, when she was only 4 years old.  Clearly the young one has been noodled.  We are not surprised – the innocent see the absolute truth….  Nevertheless, we are encouraged to see His Noodliness reaching out to the youth.
Ramen,

Katya

Fantastic! I’m encouraged as well.

Is this motion blur or proof of His existence?

Published November 2nd, 2011 by Bobby Henderson

I snapped this picture on the road a few years ago and I just noticed the manifestation of his noodliness as I was browsing through my picture archives.

The question I have is, will Adobe’s anti-blur technology cause people to doubt these miraculous sightings?

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American.
