The Rescue is the fourth studio album by American post-rock band Explosions in the Sky. Written, recorded and mastered in two weeks in a band member's house in Austin, Texas, The Rescue is a concept album inspired by an experience the band had while touring. No material was written prior to recording, which means the album was almost entirely made up of improvisation.
The album was recorded and mixed in just two weeks. The band wrote no new material for this album prior, and then spent eight straight days writing and finishing a song each day. The rest of the two weeks was spent mixing. The album is Volume 21 in the "Travels in Constants" series and was originally only available for purchase via mail order and at the band's shows. Due to the demand of fans who could not get hold of the album, The Rescue used to be offered as a free download by the band at the band's official website at one time.
The Rescue was inspired by a time the band was on tour, and its van broke down on the road. The members had to wait eight days (hence each track title) for the transmission to be replaced in the van (as described in dialog during the song "Day Three"), and they went flat broke after the payment. They had to spend those eight days in the attic of someone kind enough to let them stay. They described "Day Eight" as "a goodbye".

Adult Swim (stylized as [adult swim] or [as]) is an American cable network that shares channel space with Cartoon Network, both of which are owned by Turner Broadcasting System, a division of Time Warner, Inc., every night from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Eastern and Pacific Time in the United States. The network is programmed by Williams Street Studios, a division of Turner Broadcasting System, which also developed two prior television programming blocks seen on Cartoon Network: Toonami (which later became a block on Adult Swim in 2012) and Miguzi. The name comes from a phrase used by public swimming pools to label designated times when children are restricted from using the facilities in favor of adults: "Adult Swim".
Debuting as a programming block on Cartoon Network in 2001, Adult Swim was established as alternative programming during the late night hours when Cartoon Network's primary target audience, children and teenagers between the ages of 7–15, would normally be sleeping. Much of Adult Swim's general content is known for its risqué, unorthodox and often bizarre presentation, while many of the series features are developed in stark contrast with traditional American television programs. The network was granted its own Nielsen ratings report due to differing target demographics, and broadcasts in countries such as Australia and New Zealand. The block features stylistically varied animated and live-action shows including original programming, syndicated series mainly consisting of Fox animated programming, short films, OVAs, and Japanese anime, generally with minimal or no editing for content.
Robot Chicken is an American stop motion adult animated sketch-comedy television series, created and executive produced by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich along with co-head writers Douglas Goldstein and Tom Root for Adult Swim. The writers, especially Green, also provide many of the voices. Senreich, Goldstein, and Root were formerly writers for the popular action figure hobbyist magazine ToyFare.Robot Chicken has won an Annie Award and four Emmy Awards.
Robot Chicken is based on "Twisted ToyFare Theater", a humorous photo comic-strip appearing in ToyFare: The Toy Magazine. The show's name was inspired by a dish on the menu at a West Hollywood Chinese restaurant, Kung Pao Bistro, where Green and Senreich had dined; the series originally was intended to be called Junk in the Trunk.
The show was created, written, and produced by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, and produced by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios (ShadowMachine Films Seasons 1-5) in association with Stoop!d Monkey, Williams Street, Sony Pictures Digital, and Sony Pictures Television. The series first appeared as Sweet J Presents on the Sony website Screenblast.com in 2001.Sweet J Presents ended after 12 episodes and moved to Cartoon Network's Adult Swim in 2005 as Robot Chicken, premiering on Sunday, February 20, 2005. In the first episode ("Conan's Big Fun"), Conan O'Brien was a featured character, voiced by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane (2005–present).
Rescue comprises responsive operations that usually involve the saving of life, or prevention of injury during an incident or dangerous situation.
Tools used might include search and rescue dogs, mounted search and rescue horses, helicopters, the "jaws of life", and other hydraulic cutting and spreading tools used to extricate individuals from wrecked vehicles. Rescue operations are sometimes supported by special vehicles such as fire department's or EMS heavy rescue vehicle.
Ropes and special devices can reach and remove individuals and animals from difficult locations including:
Rescue operations require a high degree of training and are performed by rescue squads, either independent or part of larger organizations such as fire, police, military, first aid, or ambulance services. In the U.S., they are usually staffed by medically trained personnel as NFPA regulations require it.

Finally found "The Rescue" we had been looking for a long long time, seen years ago on DD. The story about 5 kids saving their fathers serving in the US Navy from captivity in another country. In this scene J.J. Merrill (Kevin Dillon) has come to save his father Commander Merrill (Edward Albert) and others. Commander Merrill notices that someone has come for their rescue and tries to distract the guard (Rocky Wing Cheung Ho). Just love their expression when the father-son make eye contact towards the end. Brilliant Acting. biker for the rescue
rescue me, rescue 911, rescue bots, rescue bots full episodes, rescue you the weeknd, rescue me dekku, rescue 911 full episodes, rescue me fontella bass, rescue heroes, rescue rangers theme song, rescue aid society
I lay this out on the table
Only if you catch me
Call me out on this fable
Just to hear my story
I will look you in the eye
Say those words that make you melt inside
History repeats again just like me
This will never end I will never end
I’ll be as sketchy as this pen and paper
Sending you to war without a weapon
Using my ability to get your sympathy
The only thing this is, its apathy
Just one more
You’ve seen this so many times yet you can’t walk away
Behind closed doors
Lights out you think you know me
So delicately I wanted more
So I lied and betrayed you
This must be love
How could you miss the doubtful look in my eyes?
When I told you that this felt right
I will kiss your lips again
With the passion that you only see in movies
I’ll set you up to take this fall
Make you think that I am perfect I’m so perfect
I own the blueprints to your heart
And just like mines on a battlefield
I’ll use these phone calls so strategically
Placing them perfectly
