Coming up: Anarchist Bookfair & Eurostar St. Pancras demo

There is now less than a week to go before Anarchist Christmas & the No Borders demo at nearby St. Pancras station.

Next Saturday, the London Anarchist Bookfair will be held for the first time at a University of the Arts London building in Kings Cross. A great opportunity to stock up on books, bump into people you haven’t seen for years, and argue about anarchy. See the full programme of discussions here.

At 6pm, a demo has been called by Calais Migrant Solidarity at Eurostar St. Pancras, (practically next door), in solidarity with people stuck at the border in Calais & the three people held on remand in UK prisons for daring to walk through the channel tunnel and making it to the other side alive. There will be a simultaneous demo in Paris with the same messages of freedom for the prisoners and against the border regime. St. Pancras already saw a surprise demo on Friday organised by the Black Dissidents, London Latinxs and Sisters Uncut. People sat down in front of the check-in gates, some glued to the machines, and held out for several hours causing significant disruption.

And the afterparty? If you’re not spending the night in a police cell or supporting arrestees down the nick, there are at least three gigs happening in the evening.
