Pickled in aspic
From December 1998 to February 2004 this site chronicled strangeness on the web. A collection of issues made it difficult to keep up the regular updates, and in any case there is only so much weirdness that can be laughed at before it becomes a bit repetitive. The collection will remain here as an archive of madness, but it is highly unlikely that regular updates will return. I thank all the visitors who came and enjoyed the site over the years. The work continues, but with a different emphasis, at The Millenium Project.
Click to make me immortal. That will give me eternity to come back and update this site.

January 2004 Nothing happened in January because the Quintessence staff were all at a conference. If you don't believe me, you can look at the page for the month anyway. February 2004 Learn about weather, geography, physics, astrology and truth. And shopping. Previous years 1998 - 1999 - 2000 - 2001 - 2002 Special Editions Occasionally Quintessence of the Loon has a special edition which concentrates on a single topic. You can see these here.
