Trailblazer is high-level architecture framework for Ruby web applications. It deals with the problem of abstraction in an application. Trailblazer and Ruby on Rails work well together because they are decoupled. We will go through the concepts of Trailblazer to understand them and show how we can use it with Ruby on Rails applications.
Naghmeh started her career in technology by managing her home bakery website. That led to a QA internship which helped her get experience working on an engineering team. This inspired her to learn more about programming which she did at The Iron Yard. She works at Bear and Giraffe as software developer.

Most Rails Developers use the Unix shell, Bash (or a variant), every day. However, many newcomers don’t utilize the full potential of this ubiquitous command line interface to the Unix operating system. As an updated version of the talk on this subject I gave to AoR in 2014, I’ll discuss powerful features and tricks of the Bash shell to help improve your day to day life developing with Rails!

Matthew Swain
Matthew Swain, M.D. is a fictional character in the novel Peyton Place, as well as the movie and TV series of the same name. In the movie, he was played by actor Lloyd Nolan and in the television series, he was played by actor Warner Anderson.
History
Matthew Swain was the long time physician in the New Hampshire community of Peyton Place. He had grown up in the community, having done his internship at Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover, New Hampshire. Dr. Swain was a widower, his wife Emily having died some years before the book began, and had been Peyton Place's doctor for some 30 years. To him, the word "Specialist" was anathema to him, having once wrathfully told a specialist in ears eyes nose and throats, that "he specialized in sick people!" He also loved to send birthday cards to every child he delivered. In the novel, he was a friend and ally to the community's school teacher, Miss Elsie Thornton.
After his internship at Hanover, he was to go into partnership with one Dr. Jerrald Quimby, who had been the community's leading physician; until Harmon Carter, in concert with his girlfriend, and Dr. Quimby's then wife, Roberta, turned him away from his house. Furious, he hung his shingle at his parents house on Chestnut Street and had not regretted doing so. The town had laughed at Dr. Quimby, who had married the much younger Roberta Welch, and sick people started seeing Dr. Swain, after the town found him senile and considered him a "Damned Old Fool". Later on, Dr. Quimby killed himself.

His recent foray into the latter with Buxton Records is a direct reflection of his broad approach in the DJ booth, featuring a roster of local and international contributors such as James Hunter, Tristen, YokoO, Trinity, Little Fritter, Dersu Uzala, Daniel Ray and Lazarusman, who’ve each provided the label with music suitable for physically engaging dance floor excursions and relaxed headphone sessions alike.
Having built a reputation as an excellent warm-up DJ, Swain supported the likes of Marcus Worgull, Dave Seaman, Vincenzo, Moomin, Kevin Griffiths, Jay Shepheard, Oskar Offermann, Steffi, Jus-Ed, Claire Morgan, MCDE, H.O.S.H, Steve Bug, Lee Burridge and more besides. His more recent milestones include a 2014 warm up for Dixon in Hong Kong, a support slot with Delta Sounds in Croatia for a Watergate event featuring Ruede Hagelstein and Matthias Meyer plus a 3 hour opening slot for Kolour in the park with Sven Vath in Thailand.
He has also been making regular headline appearances across Asia since 2010, playing club events and boat parties in Hong Kong with PUSH to massive hotel rooftop parties & open air events in Thailand with Kolour Events and several headline appearances at GLOW Nightclub in Bangkok.
