A video game developer is a software developer that specializes in video game development – the process and related disciplines of creating video games. A game developer can range from one person who undertakes all tasks to a large business with employee responsibilities split between individual disciplines, such as programming, design, art, testing, etc. Most game developer companies have video game publisher financial and usually marketing support. Self-funded developers are known as independent or indie developers and usually make indie games.
A developer may specialize in a certain video game console (such as Nintendo's Wii U, Microsoft's Xbox One, Sony's PlayStation 4), or may develop for a number of systems (including personal computers). Video-game developers specialize in certain types of games (such as role-playing video games or first-person shooters). Some focus on porting games from one system to another, or translating games from one language to another. Less commonly, some do other kinds of software-development work in addition to games.
Game developer is a broad term that may refer to:
A video game is an electronic game that involves human interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device such as a TV screen or computer monitor. The word video in video game traditionally referred to a raster display device, but it now implies any type of display device that can produce two- or three-dimensional images. Video games are sometimes believed to be a form of art, but this designation is controversial.
The electronic systems used to play video games are known as platforms; examples of these are personal computers and video game consoles. These platforms range from large mainframe computers to small handheld computing devices. Specialized video games such as arcade games, while common in the 1980s, have gradually declined in use due to the widespread availability of home video game devices (e.g., PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) and video games on desktop and laptop computers and smartphones.
The input device used for games, the game controller, varies across platforms. Common controllers include gamepads, mouses, keyboards, joysticks, the touchscreens of mobile devices and buttons. In addition to video and (in most cases) audio feedback, some games include haptic, vibration or force feedback peripherals.
A software engineer is a person who applies the principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers or anything containing software work.
Prior to the mid-1961s, software practitioners called themselves computer programmers or software developers, regardless of their actual jobs. Many people prefer to call themselves software developer and programmer, because most widely agree what these terms mean, while software engineer is still being debated.
The term programmer has often been used as a pejorative term to refer to those without the tools, skills, education, or ethics to write good quality software. In response, many practitioners called themselves software engineers to escape the stigma attached to the word programmer. In many companies, the titles programmer and software developer were changed to software engineer, for many categories of programmers.
These terms cause confusion, because some denied any differences (arguing that everyone does essentially the same thing with software) while others use the terms to create a difference (arguing the terms mean completely different jobs).

This is a new series I call: Misandry in the News. I will occasionally put the spotlight on examples of misandry in real life, entertainment, media, social media, or even personal anecdotes. It will not matter whether the incidents are minor or major, trivial or momentous, fiction or non-fiction, as the entire point is to explore an area of gender reality that is alternative to the mainstream, status quo perspectives that currently dominate our times. In this video, I will start with two small but significant examples from two excellent video games by famed, well respected video game developer: Naughty Dog. ………………………………………………….. When you interview with a hiring manager, do you sit there and wonder what they think of you? Of course you do. That's why we arranged a mock interview with a sound designer and a hiring executive at Turbine, a developer of massively multiplayer online role-playing games, wholly owned by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Participating in the interview are Sound Designer Tyler Piersall, who previously worked as an audio assistant at now-defunct LucasArts, and Craig Alexander, Turbine's Vice President of Product Development.

Verse:
Its 4 am I'm still sitting in front of my TV set
Beep Beep Beep .. I push the button on my joypad
I've been playing this game since the day still young
My head starts to feel dizzy I can go blind
But I can't turn it off, but I can't turn it off
Reff:
I'm stuck in this videogame
And I cant get out I cant get out
I'm freakin' out I'm screamin' out loud
But nobody can hear me nobody can help me out
(back to Verse, Reff)
Nobody can help me out
Nobody can save me
I just want to get out
