Overview
The adhesion banner appears at the base of the page upon load and remains visible as the reader engages with the headlines on the page. The adhesion banner is a premium ad unit that is persistent yet unobtrusive. It respects the bandwidth of the device, gives the reader control and is based on an IAB rising star standard ad unit.
Product Rules
- Where can this run? See the SiteMatrix
- Ad anchors itself to the bottom of the page and follows the user on scroll.
- Ad remains until user presses close button at which point it will return to the slot at the top of the page.
- Once a user has closed the ad subsequent visits will have the ad in the top position and it will no longer be adhesive.
- A fairfax close button will be placed over the adhesion banner in the top right corner.
- A 40x40px area in the top right corner will not be clickable as it will hold the close button
