Liam Wyatt is an Australian in Italy…
I’m the GLAM-Wiki community manager for Europeana. I’m most widely know as a Wikimedian, hailing in Sydney, and founder of the GLAM-Wiki movement. Before moving to Europe I was the inaugural Social Media coordinator for the National Library of Australia. My username everywhere is “Wittylama” – an anagram. I speak French, Italian and Swedish, have a bachelors in Globalisation Studies (with the university medal in history) and a Masters in IP law from QUT/WIPO.
In former lives I have been the Wikimedia Foundation’s Cultural Partnerships Fellow (aka GLAM fellow), Vice President of Wikimedia Australia and the “Wikipedian in Residence” at the British Museum. Also: a project officer at Austlii and the ARC Centre for Creative Industries and Innovation (CCi), multimedia coordinator at the Dictionary of Sydney, a yellow shirt, historian, podcaster, fire-twirler, museuophile, snowboarder, förman, bartender and backpacker…
Peace, Love & Metadata to all!
