Menjelang Konvensyen Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) kali pertama, dua tokoh profesional dari PAS mengisytiharkan diri mereka masuk parti serpihan Islam itu.
Setiausaha Agungnya, Anuar Tahir berkata susulan kemasukan dua tokoh profesional tersebut, dijangkakan lebih ramai tokoh dijangka menyertai parti itu ketika konvensyen itu nanti.
Menurutnya lagi, konvensyen itu diadakan pada 10-11 Disember ini bertempat di Shah Alam Convention Centre, Shah Alam.
Dua orang tokoh terbabit adalah Dr Tajul Ariffin dan Dr Mohd Azmi Othman.

Dulu Selangor kubu Umno BN. Sekarang Selangor jadi kubur bagi Umno BN.
Tahniah kepada AMANAH. Walaupun usia setahun tapi cukup matang dalam politik mereka. Saya yakin AMANAH akan main peranan penting dalam politik negara.
Senario politik semasa memerlukan kekuatan baru. Negara sedang dilanda kegawatan kepimpinan dan kecurangan pengurusan ekonomi negara. Kita tak boleh lagi mendokong Umno BN.
Bukan sahaja menyokong Perdana Menteri Najib Razak malah mana-mana pihak yang dilihat bersama dengan Najib pun tidak boleh diterima.
Tidak boleh bersekongkol dengan bapak perompak negara.
Kita nyatakan ikrar, mana-mana pihak yang dilihat bersekongkol dengan Umno BN, rakyat akan menolak mereka pada pilihan raya akan datang.

Amanah
Amanah (Arabic: أمانة), in the closest literal English translation, means fulfilling or upholding trusts.
Al-Amanah or "The Trust" has a broader Islamic meaning. It is the moral responsibility of fulfilling one's obligations due to Allah and fulfilling one's obligations due to Allah's slaves (other people). It also means "free will."

Husam Musa
Dato' Paduka Haji Husam Musa (born 14 October 1959) is one of the current three PAS Vice-Presidents, since 2011. He was born at Kampung Kota, Kota Bharu, in the state of Kelantan, Malaysia. Husam is the state assemblyman for the N17 Salor constituency since 2008. Prior to that, he was the State Assemblyman for Kijang constituency (2004). He was the federal member of parliament for Kubang Kerian in 1999–2004. His tenure as Member of Parliament gave him the prominence as a very capable politician in Malaysia and he received the accolade as "Newsmaker of the Year 2003" (malaysiakini.com) for his tenacity to bring up issues of public interest. He contested the parliamentary seat of Putrajaya in 2013 Malaysian general election but lost to Barisan Nasional's Tengku Adnan Mansor.
Husam's early career included a stint as Harakah journalist in 1985 and in 1990–1993 he was the Press Secretary to the Menteri Besar of Kelantan Dato Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat. In 1993–1999 he was appointed political secretary to the Menteri Besar. He is married and has seven sons and a granddaughter.
